Tomorrow (Saturday, October 27) at David Burke Kitchen, there will be a special family event in celebration of autumn. The event will feature a special menu of fall specialties, including Bacon Pecan Brioche Sticky Bun and Roasted Pumpkin Pie, and complimentary hors d’oeuvres and apple cider will be served to all attendees. In addition to the regular brunch menu, and the special entrees created just for this event, attendees will also have the option of ordering two pancake platters, a buttermilk shortstack of pancakes or a special pastrami salmon flapjack topped with pickled onions and horseradish mousse. These special pancake platters are available each Saturday during the pancake socials. (Read more after the jump).
With Halloween only days away, the restaurant will also commemorate the day for kids. They have created a special pumpkin patch outside the restaurant and each child who attends the event will be able to pick their own pumpkin. There will be a pumpkin carver on site to demonstrate how to carve a pumpkin and to help the kids make their own pumpkin creations. The pumpkin carver will also be showcasing his own designs. Kids are encouraged to come in costume.
The event will run from 11am until 2pm and Brunch is served from 10am until 3pm. There is a $29 per person prix fixe menu consisting of either a starter and a main or a main and a dessert, or items can be ordered a la carte.
