My son is going to pre-k next year and we’re trying to inspire him to be familiar with the letters of the alphabet as a preparation for beginning to read and write. I found gorgeous art at Art.com that is interactive and can encourage kids to learn the alphabet in a fun way and is great for older kids as well. (Read more after the jump)
I received the Wee Alphas Print for review from the Wee Society collection. It is a drawing of animals with all of the letters of the alphabet hidden in each one. This is a great way of getting your kids to recognize the letters. Each animal also has its own name, which makes it even more fun for kids. The Wee Society collection is exclusive to Art.com, which means you won’t be able to find it anywhere else. You can choose from various types of prints, as well as a variety of sizes that suit your particular needs. The Wee Society collection has three themes:
Wee Alphas: This collection includes a letter of the alphabet hidden in each furry, finned and feathered friend.
Wee You-Things: This quirky crew celebrates those little and big things that make you special.
Wee Know What’s Awesome: From helicopters to confetti to seahorses – here are a bunch of things that are awesome!
The genius about the Wee Society collection is that not only is the art beautiful and unique, it’s universal and can be appreciated across the board by people of all walks of life. It can be hung in a teen’s room, an office, a nursery, or a school-aged-kid’s room. The artwork is whimsical yet has a clean, modern look that appeals to adults.
You can purchase the Wee Alphas Print poster here. Price is from $19.99-$349.99.
