The wonderful (and affordable!) Target Storybook Series is holding its last performance of the year at Brooklyn College. This time it’s The Wizard of Oz, the musical. Join Dorothy, Toto and their friends as they follow the yellow brick road in search of the Emerald City and the wizard. Brought to you by American Family Theater, this version is not to be missed!
Based on L. Frank Baum’s classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, this original musical tells the beloved story of Dorothy’s adventure over the rainbow as she follows the yellow brick road with the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion towards the Emerald City and the mysterious Wizard who can help her get home. Featuring original lyrics, music and book by Don Kersey, the hour-long performance features such songs as “Be Brave,” “Back Home,” and “It’s So Easy to be a Witch.”
The performance is recommended for ages 4 and up. Click here to download a parents guide to the show.
