Lovers of parodies and Italian street theater rejoice! Ragtag Theatre Company is holding performances of their hysterical, award-winner show, Cinderella – a twisted retelling of the classic tale. The improvised, interactive show is kid-friendly and spoofs the famous story with a nod to pop culture. It’s playing until January 7th so be sure to get your tickets to this unique show – it’s perfect for the holiday season! Ragtag Theatre’s Cinderella – A Fractured Fairytale
Ragtag Theatre Company is back with their sold-out hit and this year’s Off Broadway Alliance winner for Best Family Show, Cinderella! Follow a troupe of poor “Italian” actors as they present the well-known fairy tale, Cinderella, in a brand-new way—with daffy llamas, roller skating fairy godmothers, selfie taking step sisters, and Carol Channing. This adaptation is performed in the Italian street theater style known as Commedia dell’Arte with larger-than-life characters, colorful song and dance numbers, tons of pop culture references and a great message on self-worth for kids.
The performance is 65 minutes and recommended for all ages. Premium seat holders can participate in a pre-show runway extravaganza, held 25 minutes prior to the show.
