The kind folks at Turkey Hill Dairy recently sent my family some of their new Baklava Limited Edition Greek Frozen Yogurt to try out. I’ve been a fan of Turkey Hill for years (their mint cookie frozen yogurt is one of my all time faves), so I immediately said yes when they asked if I wanted to try it out.
My husband and I really enjoyed it (and we’ve decided not to share with the kids, who don’t appreciate a good baklava anyway). The vanilla greek frozen yogurt was sweet and creamy, and the baklava pieces were sweet. The honey cinnamon swirl kicked it up and tied the treat all together for us.
Don’t think you can have this every morning to replace regular greek yogurt, since it’s got 18 g of sugar per serving and 5g of protein vs the regular greek yogurt that I buy with between 12- 17 g of sugar and 12g -16g of protein. But if you’re going to have frozen yogurt as a treat, why not have this one? It has 67% more protein than Turkey Hill’s regular frozen yogurt. Also, it was much for delicious than my regular greek yogurt.
