Both Nancy and I attended Blogger Bash’s Sweet Suite 2015 last week and we wanted to showcase our faves. This is what I liked the best:
Moodsters
Controlling emotions is key to growing up and many kids struggle with this aspect. There are very few, if any, toys that can help kids understand and manage their emotions and the Moodsters can offer a solution. The Moodsters are little creatures that make up the different moods that people have. Through the Moodsters products kids can learn daily strategies for coping with certain moods. I love these kits that include storybooks, along with a device, such as a mood meter, flashlight or mirror to help deal with the different emotions. Available this August in Target.
Hello Numbers Book
It’s never too early to foster the love of math in kids and NumbersAlive! is an organization that does it in a fun and playful way and gets very young kids to be excited about math concepts. Their multi-award-winning book, Hello Numbers, introduces very young kids to the first ten numbers and can be used with plush numbers to accompany it.
Super Moon In My Room
The moon has captivated us since the beginning of mankind. Kids seem to be especially curious about it, its changing shape and its light. Super Moon In My Room by Uncle Milton Toys is a moon that hangs on the wall and matches the real moon outside he window with 12 different settings. It comes with nighttime and moon landing sound effects and has automatic shut-off.
Yummy Nummies
Lots of kids like to bake. Lots of moms don’t like the mess. Yummy Nummies are ingenious products that allow kids to bake mini treats in the microwave with minimal mess because they are just so tiny (and minimal kids supervision). Kids can make anything from burgers to pizzas to cookies and donuts and everything in between. I especially love the Cupcake Cuties Maker which is a kit that has everything you need to make and decorate 10 mini cupcakes. Available at major retailers, such as Target, Walmart, Toys R Us and Amazon.
Robo Turtle
My kids have been begging us for a pet and while I’m not ready to take care of a real live pet, the Robo Turtle from Zuru is starting to look more and more appealing. The Robo Turtle is a lifelike robotic turtle that swims in the bathtub, or a glass aquarium. The Robo Turtle is very lifelike and can also walk on land.
Here’s the video Nancy took at Sweet Suite:
I was not compensated for this post. I received a gift bag.
