We attended a super fun event this past weekend, a Playdate in the City for Tollytots by JAKKS PACIFIC. The line creates toys for such brands as Safety 1st, My First Disney Princess (and prince dolls), toy strollers and baby accessories for Graco and Fisher-Price (Little Mommy Line), Rubiks Cube, and Baby Genius (to just name a few).
Just note something as you see my youngest son playing with the Safety 1st line — he is engaged in every single picture I took. He loved the firetruck, the schoolbus, and the groovy cars (when you place a “Cubikal” on top, it makes the car drive off by itself (and zig zag). (Read More after the jump).

My middle child (4 1/2), Allegra, gravitated towards the Disney line – My First Disney Princess and toy strollers. She took a baby Snow White home and is in heaven!
The Baby Genius line includes lot of music toys — we loved the Jukebox and the Be-A-DJ Bear Jam-boree.

Because of my toddler’s extreme love of the cars and trucks (he was enthralled), my favorite was the Safety 1st line, with the Disney Princesses coming in second. I think we know what we’ll be buying as gifts for friends and relatives.
