My youngest child, Skylar, turns four today. I’m a little weepy over it — because he’s my baby (and last child). He’s come a long way in the past year.
The night before he turned four.
Speech
Skylar’s gone from barely speaking a few words when he started school last July to conversations now. He actually loves to argue and call us all “Stupid”. While that’s not as fun, he’s talking.
Potty Training
He’s still not potty trained (I had thought we were making great progress)…I’m not too happy about that. He does wear pull-up diapers and he will sit on the potty, but then he’ll also have accidents. Lots of accidents.
Loves
Chocolate milk, his big sister, and brother (though he loves that both he and his sister are “little”), his grandparents, Thomas the Tank Engine.. This one is all boy.
School Birthday Party (last week — Skylar goes to the summer session of his school).
Skylar wanted a Thomas Birthday Party (again).. so I obliged.
For his family birthday party, he wanted Thomas also.
The cake was a huge hit.
He was so thrilled with the trains on his cake that he actually didn’t eat the cake.
And this is Skylar turning four.
This post was not sponsored. I paid for the party supplies, cake, and toys.
