Hamentashen is the traditional Jewish Cookie for Purim and boy, do I love them. And if you need Hamentaschen Recipes – here are a few of my favorite Hamentaschen recipes (regular and gluten free)! The best thing about Hamentashen (yes, I spell it differently all the time) is that you can really customize it. If you like nuts, put nuts in. If you hate nuts, then you leave them out. Get creative and have your kids help you! Even a young child can add a filling to the circle of dough that you give them and they love seeing their hamentashen cookie come out of the oven. Yummy! I have many memories of making hamentashen growing up and it’s something I used to make for my students when I taught. In fact, this is one of the things my husband remembers me when we were dating. He liked that I made Hamenstashen for my students. Now, I make this with my own kids. My daughter especially loves when we make hamentashen!
