No matter what I choose for my husband’s holiday present, he is always the happiest when I give any gift that contains an image of our children. I really stepped it this year, with a little help from Staples. They have a service that lets you make a print of your favorite picture on canvas. And it’s a cinch to order. You’ve got a couple options for ordering — either do it in store or order on Staples’ website. If you chose to do it on line, you can have it shipped to your home or pick it up at a retail location. How awesome is that?
If you’re ordering online, start here. You’ll need to have a staples.com account (which is very fast to set up). Then login (or register) so you can save your work.
Select what size you want (choose from 11 x 14, 12 x 12 or 16 x 20) . I chose the 11 x 14 (in the portrait size) and uploaded a few pictures so I could see what would look better.
I ended up choosing the picture of my oldest and middle child with Grover (from our Beaches Negril trip). It was the first big trip we took with my older and middle kids (we left our little guy at home as he was too young). We made fantastic memories and I really want to remember the day we spent with Grover.
The picture was a little dark, so I was able to lighten up a little. Remember to use a photo with as high a resolution as possible. I was able to use Staples’ website to choose, crop and order my Canvas print.
I also decided to get a photo enlargement for $6.99 also – go here to check out the sizes and get started. I chose a baby picture of my youngest son.
Want to see how the Canvas Print came out?
And here’s the photo enlargement!
