My ten-year-old daughter has beautiful, thick hair, which she loves to style and accessorize every morning before she goes to school. Unfortunately, at this time of year, she suffers from dry skin and eczema which makes it difficult to help her take care of her hair. Most products only cause her eczema to get worse but when you want your hair to look good you just have to put up with products that will dry out your scalp. Right? Wrong. SoCozy has a line of products called Hush that are made especially for sensitive skin and that treat sensitive scalp.
I picked up the new SoCozy Hush products (in the baby aisle). All of the SoCozy Hush products are allergy and dermatologist tested. There are no Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, synthetic color, Propylene Glycol. They are free of gluten, wheat, and nuts.
SoCozy Sensitive Leave-In Ultra Detangler Spray, $12.50
This miracle worker is seriously nothing short of a miracle. Somehow, even with my daughter’s thick hair that’s prone to getting knots, all I needed was 4-5 sprays, and the knots just melted away. You can use on either dry or damp hair. It has a delicate scent, as do all of the Hush products.
SoCozy Sensitive 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner, $14.50
The ultra-cool bottle has a massage brush that squirts out the shampoo/conditioner. One squirt is enough and then you simply massage it into your scalp as you gently brush it to increase micro-circulation and oxygen to the roots. My daughter (age 10) had no problem using it on her own and really liked the scalp massage.
SoCozy Sensitive Scalp Serum, $14.50
This serum is perfect for kids with itchy scalp and can help reduce flakiness. It’s in the form of a spray and feels very lightweight.
SoCozy Sensitive Styling Foam, $12.50
We tried the foam after the shower, on damp hair, as it said in the directions. My daughter slept with damp hair and in the morning she woke up with soft waves, which was a big hit with her! The foam is very lightweight and completely absorbs into the hair, so it doesn’t leave the hair strands with that rough, sticky texture.
