Getting kids to love reading can sometimes be a challenge for parents. The first performance in the series is The Velveteen Rabbit, the classic book by Margery Williams. The story is about a stuffed animal who wishes to become real. The dazzling production, adapted by Enchantment Theatre Company, features original musical score by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award-winning composer/arranger Don Sebesky, lyrics by Gloria Nissenson, and a book by Leslie Reidel, Jennifer Blatchley Smith, and Landis Smith.
