March is finally here and although there’s still snow, the temps are starting to rise. The bitter cold weather has left its marks on my parched skin and there’s no better way of getting my youthful glow back than with skincare products that are all-natural and, most importantly, effective – such as the Kaeng Raeng cleansing products.
Kaeng Raeng means “be healthy, be strong” in Thai and is actually a company that specializes in cleansing shakes. They’ve recently launched a new body line care. Their three products (which also come as a package – perfect as a Mother’s Day gift!) are: Detoxfoliant Body Scrub, Cleansing Clay and Afterglow Serum. I received samples for all three and was impressed, not only at my super-soft skin, but also at the top-of-the-line ingredients.
The Detoxfoliant Body Scrub is incredible! Even after one use you come out of the shower feeling like you were at the spa. It exfoliates gently and leaves a creamy (non-oily) residue that’s absorbed by the time you towel off. All you’re left with is ultra-soft skin. The body scrub contains very few ingredients: Himalayan Pink Salt & Dead Sea Salt for exfoliation; essential oils and shea butter for saturating your skin with moisture. It comes in a generous 10 oz. jar. You can purchase it here for $36.
Exfoliating your body is great, but what about your face? Kaeng Raeng has a clay mask like no other! I’ve used clay masks before and they were all green. The Cleansing Clay is actually black! So, yeah, it does look a little weird on your face (I recommend you use it late at night when everyone is sleeping so you can avoid snarky comments). The black clay is real clay and won’t stain your clothes or anything else. If you happen to spill some it will come right off. The black color comes from charcoal, which draws out toxins and is used in high-end spas. It also contains essential oils to calm irritated skin, aloe vera, and green tea extract, among other all-natural ingredients. I used it and found my skin looking fresh, bright and my pores looked really tiny – a big plus in my book! You can buy the Cleansing Clay here for $25.
With my clean face I needed a moisturizer – the Afterglow moisturizing facial serum is all about essential oils. The lightweight serum absorbs quickly (I put a very thin layer because I have oily skin) and helps rejuvenate skin and fight age spots and acne scars. You can purchase it here for $20.

I was not compensated for this post. I received samples.
