A few days ago I had the chance to see the U.S premiere of the successful Finnish show, Wally Watthead and His Lost Glow. My seven-year-old daughter and I were smitten by the utterly charming Wally Watthead and loved the “think-outside-the-box-type” humor. Here’s a recap of this quirky, adorable show:
Wally Watthead, played by Janne Raudaskoski, an award-winning magician, is a nightlamp who loses his glow. With the help of Polly Picture and a smartphone named Simon Simcard he regains his glow. Throughout the show Wally levitates himself, shrinks himself and does some really awesome and unique magic tricks. When the show ended after a little less than an hour I felt like I really wanted to see more of Wally Watthead; in fact, this was a shortened version – the original show is longer.
Wally Watthead, which is recommended for kids ages 4 and up, may be going on a U.S tour next year so check back on the site for updates. Be sure to check out the facebook page, too.
I was not compensated for this post. I received tickets to the show.
