The folks at Sprout, the 24-hour preschool channel, know a thing or two about shows that toddlers love. From Sesame Street to Thomas to Super Why, the programming is chock full of both classic and original shows, created specifically with very small kids in mind. The Sprout chiefs also know how to throw a party. This past Thanksgiving my family and I attended an event at the Wayfarer restaurant in midtown to view the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Needless to say Sprout pulled out all the stops and threw an affair to remember.
When we first got there we were treated to a live performance of Chica from The Chica Show and her friend Kelly.
After a wonderful breakfast the kids had fun doing crafts and we all enjoyed amazing smoothies from the smoothie bar.
Once the parade started everyone had their noses glued to the windows. It was the best show in town, literally.
The Sprout float:
Happy Holiday season!
I was not compensated for this post. Thank you to Sprout for inviting me to the event.
