We love when a company does something very smart. Bravado Designs, a company I’ve respected for years, recently partnered with celebrated designer Rebecca Minkoff to create two nursing tanks to support Baby Buggy, founded by Jessica Seinfeld. Twenty percent of Limited Edition Rebecca Minkoff tank sales will be donated to Baby Buggy, additionally for every tank purchased, they will also donate an nursing bra to a mother in need.
Founded in 2001, Baby Buggy is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing families in need across the U.S. with essentials for children 0-12.
Meet the Indy and Luca Tanks, designed by Rebecca Minkoff for Bravado Designs
I was lucky enough to attend the launch event last Monday at Alison Eighteen in NYC.
I wrote for Bravado Designs’ Breastfeeding Diaries for 8 months, so it was an honor to meet Bravado Designs Managing Director Kathryn From in person. She said this about the partnership with Rebecca Minkoff, “For the past 20 years, Bravado has been deeply committed to serving all women on their motherhood journey. We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone through our collaboration with Rebecca Minkoff and honored to continue to play such a meaningful role in the lives of new mothers everywhere.”
20% of all sales from the Luca and Indy tops will be donated back to Baby Buggy. In addition, Bravado Designs will also donate a new bra or tank to a mother in need for each Limited Edition tank purchased.
The tanks retail for $39 each will be available on Bravado Designs’ website, Diapers.com, and at local retailers; The Pump Station – Los Angeles, Isis Parenting – New England; Pickles & Ice Cream – Dallas & Houston, TX, and Yummy Mummy – New York.
Thank to you to Forty Weeks for inviting me to this wonderful event. I was not compensated, but I did receive a gift bag.
