My youngest is turning two this fall and as he’s getting older, bigger and becoming more of a boy than a baby — so we felt it was time to update his crib bedding. Skip Hop is a brand known for its efficient diaper bags and adorable kids’ backpacks but they actually also have a terrific line of bedding sets. Their modern, yet whimsical designs are just what you need when you want to brighten up a nursery with a pop of color that can still likely match what you already have.
I received the Treetop Friends Bedding set from Skip Hop for review and it was exactly what I wanted – bright, playful and fitting for an older baby who’s not quite ready for the superhero beddings but doesn’t need a baby-ish theme either. Plus this will also work when he moves into a toddler bed.
The bedding set comes with four pieces: a sheet, a cribskirt, a two-sided blanket and wall decals. The sheet has two different patterns – bold graphics on the side and a more delicate pattern on top. This patent-pending feature creates a bumper-like look without a bumper (which you can buy separately, along with other matching extras such as a mobile or a plush owl). I absolutely loved the reversible ultra-soft blanket!

I was not compensated for this post. I received a sample.
