The first day of school is coming up so quickly! While I’ll miss spending time with my babies, it’s been a LOOOOONG summer and I am ready for them to go back to school.
We’re finishing up our Back to School shopping and finishing up summer projects.
Project Mc², a new Netflix Original Series just premiered. This show features 4 super cool teen spies, who show girls can use their science smarts and math problem-solving skills to save the world.
We’re getting ready for back to school by screening some cool shows on Netflix – like our new fave Dino Trux and Odd Squad.
Dinotrux, which premiered on Netflix Aug. 14, is a brand new action-packed original series from Dreamworks Animation, featuring characters that are half-dinosaur/half-construction vehicle. Ty Rux and Revvit, two unlikely best friends, build a bigger, better world and battle against the biggest creature of all: D-Structs, who threatens to wreck everything they’ve built. Dinotrux mixes action, comedy and adventure while focusing on teamwork and friendship. It is perfect for my 5 year old son, who is really into it. In fact, they’ve watched almost the episodes and are now watching them for a second time.
Odd Squad is also a fave. They even play “Odd Squad” now offline. My daughter loves to pretend to be “Agent Baby” and my younger son likes to pretend to be “Otto”. They call me “Miss O” – which I’m not sure is a compliment. With a focus on math – Odd Squad from PBS Kids is a winner (note: I am a PBS VIP Parent Ambassador also. While my kids had liked it when it came on, they didn’t seek it out too often). Now that it’s on Netflix, suddenly it’s getting streamed all the time. Besides Odd Squad, here are some other cool titles to stream.
And we are excited to see that Reading Rainbow on Netflix!
So, get your start on your school year with Netflix!
