The fourth-annual World Maker Faire returns this weekend September 21-22, 2013.
A festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, World Maker Faire showcases what people are making and provides a forum to learn by sharing knowledge and experience. 600 makers will exhibit their projects in addition to performance, demonstrations and a speaker roster including authors, innovators, and leading thinkers in the Maker movement.
Open rain or shine. Requires purchase of a World Maker Faire ticket.
Hours: Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

TICKETS
Tickets are available NOW. Tickets will also be available on-site on September 21 and 22. NYSCI members get the best discounts on World Maker Faire tickets.
Admission on September 21 and 22 requires purchase of a World Maker Faire ticket. ASTC, ACM, Cool Culture, New York Pass, corporate partner memberships, online promotions, free passes and other partner passes will not be honored during World Maker Faire.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Hundreds of makers will present their fun and unusual creations such as rockets, robots, arts & crafts, electronics, artisanal foods, woodworking, live music, and much more!
Editor’s Note: I went two years ago to the Maker Faire and had an amazing time. My kids were so engaged and interested! If your kid likes STEM (science, tech, engineering and math), the Maker Faire is for them.
