A family of travelling circus performers stops to set up camp in an abandoned lot in the outskirts of town. One day, as they are doing their daily chores, they discover an entire audience in front of them waiting to be entertained. Can you guess what happens next? “The Return” by Les Parfaits Inconnus is a circus performance that includes live music performance in a unique blend of theater, acrobatics and music.
In this New York premiere performance, the Just Kidding audience will witness a crazy adventure through the world of the circus, where comedy, acrobatics, balancing, cycling and juggling mingle with the festive rhythms of horn-driven live music. Over the 70 minute performance these crazy characters will take the audience through a rock and roll atmosphere. As general manager and founder (and bicycle acrobat) Sylvain Dubois notes, “the show features funky, horn-driven live music and constant motion. Exuding energy from start to finish, our performers love to showcase their physical and musical prowess. The audience is usually howling with pleasure and admiration.” This seven-member, Montreal based cast has performed all over the world, including Brazil, Malta and Mexico, as well as at Disney’s Epcot Center in Florida.
