Choosing a stroller can be a hard task. There are so many options and price points that it can be hard to determine the right one for your family and lifestyle. I recently tested out the Joovy Zoom 360 and this has become one of my favorite and most recommended strollers.
The first thing that impressed me with the Joovy Zoom 360 was that it comes with all of the accessories. Unlike many other strollers, it comes with the Parent Organizer or Rain Cover at no additional cost. Even cooler? The Joovy Zoom 360 also comes with a tire pump that nestles neatly in the bottom of the basket, just in case you ever need it.
The stroller frame itself is made from aircraft grade aluminum. Strong and lightweight.
The suspension performs as awesome as it looks- it can handle some serious terrain. I have used the stroller on trails, sidewalks, and everything in between without any issues. I have found that it rides smoothly at various speeds, although I will admit that I am not a very fast runner- even on my best days!
The Joovy Zoom comes in two models, the ATS (fixed front wheel) and the 360 (swivel wheel).
What I love about the Zoom 360 is that the swivel wheel can lock into the straight position for running (if you use a jogging stroller, always use the locked position when running — safer for the kids). Because you can unlock the wheel and use it in the swivel mode, means I can easily use the stroller for purposes other than “jogging”. In addition to being my jogging stroller, it has also become my “Mall” stroller. Stereotypically the weather in Seattle is not always favorable, and I often resort to walking indoors, and the maneuverability on the Zoom 360 is great.
The Joovy Zoom 360 weighs 26.8lbs, which is pretty much on par with comparable jogging strollers.
My absolute favorite feature of the Joovy Zoom 360 is how compact it folds. Even my husband commented on how little space it takes up in the back of our Prius. It opens and folds very easily, and is very user friendly.
To open: Remove the safety/locking latch and pull open.
To close: Lift the flap, push the red lock button, and pull the cord. It is very simple, and very fast- which in turn makes getting the kids in and out of the car infinitely less stressful.
Handlebar:
The handlebar for the stroller is not adjustable. I am 5’9” tall and my husband is 6’2” and neither of us had any issue with the height of the bar, and it did not affect the ease of using the stroller.
Sun Canopy:
The canopy on the Zoom 360 is huge. It covers, and covers some more. It also features a nice peak-a-boo window (which is covered) for the kids- something that has become an essential for my oldest.
I love this stroller, and my kids love being in it.
Weight Limit: 75 lbs
My kids are three and one, and both fall well under the 75lb weight limit. My three year old (who is the size of a four year old) is on the verge of being too tall for the stroller. Luckily the stroller offers an easily adjustable seat recline, so being tall is not a huge issue (I can recline her a little bit and she’s happy and comfy). The stroller glides nicely with either kid in it, and I think that it makes jogging with either kid relatively easy (for the record, I do not think jogging while pushing a stroller is easy but baby weight does not lose itself).
My Only Complaint: Why isn’t this a double?
I seriously only have one complaint about the stroller and it is that it does not come in a double version! I really hope that Joovy comes out with a double version of this stroller- I would be the first in line to buy it.
Verdict:
I very highly recommend the Joovy Zoom 360. It is a top quality stroller with high end features, it is user friendly, and most importantly affordable. The Joovy Zoom 360 can be purchased for $269.99, and comes with the tire pump, parent organizer, and rain cover.
Thank you to Joovy for providing a sample for review.
