My oldest child, Ben, had a fantastic opportunity this week — to attend the Queens Zoo’s Winter Break Camp. It was held on Wednesday & Thursday from 10-3 at the Queens Zoo, which is around 15 minutes from our home.

A group of kids got some hands-on experience this week with the residents of the Queens Zoo, learning how animals migrate, hibernate, collect food and prepare for the winter.
