Looking for something fun to do in the Poconos with kids? Check out George W. Childs Park in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania, right in the heart of the Poconos. My husband’s family has a house nearby and we go to this waterfall around once a year.
Wear sneakers or hiking shoes that can get wet (with all the waterfalls, that’s going to happen).
While we are finally stroller free so this is the first time we didn’t have a stroller with us. I’d recommend NOT taking one, but I have worn my babies in an a back carry, using my ERGObaby.
Recommendations: There are picnic tables, so pack a lunch. Wear bug spray, wear sunscreen, and a hat. Keep a bag for garbage as there aren’t a lot of garbage cans around. There are bathrooms, but they are in central areas.
