It’s beginning to look a lot like summer…everywhere I go I see people wearing shorts and tank tops and everyone is excited to go to the beach or the pool. My boys, ages 7 and almost 4, are not big fans of water in general and this summer swim lessons are on the agenda. In the meantime. a floatation device is a must and I recently came across superhero 3D muscle swim vests and had my boys wear them. Turns out the pool can be a fun place!
The floatation devices comes in several superheroes: Batman, Spiderman and Superman. Putting it on is simple: Just put it over your child’s head, help him get his arms out of the arm holes and clip the buckle on the bottom (you can adjust if needed).
It comes in size small/medium (20-33 lbs.) and medium/large (33-55 lbs.). The larger size fit both of my boys snugly and was comfortable for them. The vest is durable and made of Polyethylene foam on the inside, which allows for floating. It also dries quickly, which is a big plus.
While the swim vest helps kids learn to balance and paddle as a Swim Phase 2 product, it is not a lifesaving device and must be used only under supervision.
I was not compensated for this post. I received samples.
