If you or someone in your family is lactose intolerant, it’s comforting to know you can have dairy through LACTAID‘s products (no more getting sick or popping lactose pills). This past winter I started having a problem with dairy, so I buy LACTAID regularly now and I substitute it for regular milk when I cook for my family. The funny thing is they haven’t even noticed.
We’ve really incorporated LACTAID’s products into our own life. We were at a chain restaurant a few weeks ago and my daughter saw a strawberry flavored milk. She’s not lactose intolerant, but the strawberry flavored milk had high fructose corn syrup, so I figured I’d make my own version. I wanted to enjoy some too, so I used LACTAID to create my own healthy strawberry milk. And my girl, who is NOT a smoothie drinker, loved this treat.
The ingredients are pretty simple. This will be frothy (but not a smoothie) and just sweet enough to make you forget the artificial strawberry milk drink.
