I’m crazy about cooking (and snacking), but one thing I like to do is make sure that the recipes I make don’t irritate my bladder. It’s the reason why I limit myself to one cup of coffee a day (even though I’d like several). I try to really make snacks and meals that won’t bother my bladder and I suspect that some of you may do the same. According to The National Association for Continence, “One in five adults over 40 are affected by OAB (Overactive Bladder) or recurring symptoms of urgency and frequency.” While I do things like exercising, kegels, drinking more water, it’s a total no brainer to make sure I limit foods that are going to irritate my bladder and include foods that won’t bother it. I found some terrific recipes to share with you to possibly give you some relief. It’s been proven that foods like blueberries, pears, garlic, potatoes, whole grains, lean proteins, and bananas can help your bladder feel better, according to Healthline. Enjoy my Healthy Recipes That Won’t Irritate Your Bladder post!
