On Monday, October 31st, Guest Blogger Tamara Lowe attended a taping of the Wendy Williams Show and interviewed Wendy after in her office.
How YOU Booin! On Monday, I had the pleasure of attending a live taping of the Wendy Williams show. Since this was the Halloween special, the entire studio audience was asked to dress in costume. Wendy’s costume was that of a beautiful PAN AM Stewardess, which was influenced by the new drama “PAN AM”. While I can’t remember the last time I dressed up for Halloween, I enjoyed dressing up as a Greek Goddess for the day.
Wendy started off the show going over “Hot Topics”, which included Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, and Nicole Scherzinger from the hit show X-Factor. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, from MTV’s Jersey Shore, was Wendy’s special guest for the day, and complimented Wendy’s costume, by dressing up as a PAN AM pilot. The pair (Wendy and “The Situation”) paid homage to PAN AM, by doing a cute airplane skit, which also helped promote “The Situation’s” new vodka brand “Devotion”.
Once the live show ended, I got the chance to sit down and interview Wendy for her “After Show” video segment.
During our interview, Wendy and I, discussed everything from her memories of Halloween as a child to how she is able to make time for it all (Mom, Wife, and Talk Show host)? As you will see from the video below, her answer to that question is simply “Cooperation”. I must admit that I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived at the studio at 9:15 that morning; however, after all is said and done, I can now say that it was such a pleasure and a lot of fun. A special thank you to Nancy Johnson Horn and Amber Williams (no relation to Wendy), for allowing me to interview, “my friend in my head”, and to Mrs. Wendy Williams (aka Mrs. Hunter) for taking the time out of her busy day to chat with me and themamamaven.com.
Editor’s Note – We are so happy that Wendy Williams and The Wendy Williams Show hosted our writer, Tamara Lowe. We are huge fans and think Wendy is a wonderful inspiration to women and moms everywhere. Thank you to Tamara for attending the show and sitting down with Wendy afterwards.
Tamara Lowe is our first guest blogger for The Mama Maven.com blog. She’s always loved to write and talk since she was a little girl, so it was no surprise that she would pick up blogging as a hobby. She currently resides in the Bronx, and has three children, ages 13, 10, and 6 (two boys and a girl). Her children are her world, and amaze her every day with the things they say and do.
