Whether you grew up in the 80s, are a die-hard Michael Jackson fan, or if you simply love a well-done Broadway show, the multi-award-winning MJ The Musical on Broadway is an extravaganza of music and dancing. The musical garnered a Tony Award for Best Choreography, Best Lighting Design, Best Sound Design and Best Actor. It’s no wonder the cast received a standing ovation at the end. They were that good!
The musical tells the story of Michael Jackson’s life, as he looks back while getting ready for one of his biggest concerts in the early 90s.
My husband and I had a blast singing along to his biggest hits and were blown away by the massive talent of the entire cast.
The musical is appropriate for kids of all ages, as it does not focus on some of the darker sides of Michael Jackson’s life, but rather touch upon some issues in a somewhat lighter way that is appropriate for this type of a show.
MJ The Musical is currently playing at the Neil Simon Theater in New York, as well as all across the country as part of the national tour. Click here for more information and tickets.
