But I don’t want to buy a whole cake or even make one – so when I was contacted to check out Duncan Hines Perfect Size for 1 Cake, I felt like this could be the ideal treat for me. Perfect Size for 1 is an individually portioned pouch of cake mix. And when I got it in my hot little hands and made it for myself (quickly and easy), I knew it was the perfect solution to my search for a little something sweet.
It’s quick and easy to make — you make it in an 8-oz coffee mug in about a minute. There’s no mess – no bowls or pans to clean. Just one little mug and you have a scrumptious warm treat.
Instructions:
Take a packet (4 come in a box), open it and add it to a 8-oz mug.
Then add 3 tablespoons of water and stir well.
Who can beat that it’s ready in about a minute?
Voila! You’ve got a warm delicious treat just for you. It’s perfectly portioned and there’s just enough for you.
I added some non-dairy whipped cream, sat down and enjoyed my Perfect Size for 1. How Perfect is That? I enjoyed ever single bite and didn’t feel an ounce of guilt.
There’s no wait to make this — no mess and no leftovers. Which means I can have my cake and eat it too, without getting out of control.
How did it taste? OMG – it was decadently delicious and I enjoyed it immensely. I also loved that it was ready super quickly. There are 18 varieties of the Perfect Size for 1 Cake Mix (like Brownie, Carrot Cake, and German Chocolate Cake) and since I am an ingredient reader, I was happy to see simple ingredients in it. You can customize your cake – try adding coffee or cocoa instead of water and add toppings (though non-dairy whipped cream on top really made me happy).
