My son, his soccer team and some friends celebrated his 10th birthday at the season home opener Long Island Rough Rider game. This party package is a “no-brain er”, awesome, affordable deal for a birthday party! For $225 the birthday package include 20 tickets, a private field level tent, invitations, 2 free pizzas, drinks and paper goods, birthday child and their group announced during the game, meet and greet photo opportunities with the men’s or women’s team and Teddy the mascot. As well as (this is the best part) the birthday child gets to take a Penalty Kick on the Rough Riders Goalkeeper, gets a Rough Rider gift bag including a game ball and t-shirt, and gets 1 FREE week of summer camp. He will never forget his 10th birthday – what a great memory for my son and his friends!
The 15 boys in our party had a blast while tracking the speed of their penalty kick with a radar gun, getting tattoos, and playing a scrimmage on the turf at halftime.
(you can see the yellow water bottle in the above photo) I gave each boy a soccer themed water bottle as one of the party favors and at the end of the game, the boys got the Rough Rider players to sign their bottles. You can bring anything you want to get signed (kids were even getting their shoes/cleats signed by the players).
TIP: bring a few Sharpie markers if you want to get stuff signed. Souvenir merchandise, such as Rough Rider soccer balls, t- shirts, sweatshirts and other items are available for sale too.
The Rough Rider Home Field is the Cy Donnelly Stadium located at St. Anthony’s High School, 275 Wolf Hill Rd, South Huntington, NY 11747
If additional tickets are needed for your group, tickets are $8.
If you are just attending any game, the normal ticket price is $10 each youth, $12 adult, $8 for groups of 8 or more people, $6 for groups of 50 or more people. Tickets are good for both games of a double header where applicable.
