I am nuts about roasted potatoes, especially the yukon gold potatoes and the red bliss potatoes. However, I have to watch my fat intake (thanks, Gastroparesis!) so any time I make roasted potatoes, it needs to be in my air fryer. You just need four ingredients to make my Air Fryer Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes – sea salt, a garlic and herb blend, yukon gold potatoes, and a little olive oil. You only need enough olive oil to lightly coat all the potatoes, not to really roast them like you’d need for making this into the oven. The result? Delicious, crispy roasted potatoes, made in your air fryer. So. Good.
What You’ll Need:
You’ll need small yukon gold potatoes (sliced up), a garlic and herb blend, olive oil, and sea salt. Cut up your potatoes.
Place your cut up potatoes in a bowl or a ziploc bag and add a tablespoon of olive oil and mix up so all the potatoes are coated lightly with oil. If you prefer, you can switch up your oils (I love avocado oil) and your spices. For these, I used a salt free garlic and herb blend, but I’ve successfully used thyme and rosemary on my roasted potatoes. Have fun and don’t overthink this.
Place your coated potatoes in your air fryer.
I put my air fryer on 400 degrees for around 10 minutes, checking several times and shaking them to make sure the air is circulating around my potatoes.
These are going to be so hot when they are done, be careful! The skin will be slightly wrinkled, they won’t look exactly like the roasted potatoes you’ve done in your oven or broiler. You can also do red bliss or any small potato this same way and they always come out amazing.
They go great with my Air Fryer Honey Teriyaki Salmon — get that recipe below.
