I’m on a chicken wing kick! After making delicious BBQ Chicken Wings in my air fryer, I decided to see if I can make some other kinds. My youngest child loves honey mustard sauce, so I decided that was going to be our next flavor! Because I wanted this to be low carb and sugar free, I took our favorite Honey Mustard Sauce and got to work! These Air Fryer Honey Mustard Chicken Wings (Sugar Free and Low Carb) are delicious and you need to make them! Read on to see what I did.
This time I defrosted the frozen wings I had in my freezer. I placed several on a plate and let it defrost in my fridge.
Then I used spray oil to coat my wings. If you are not following WW, like I am, feel free to use any kind of oil to coat them. I love avocado oil because it has a high smoke point.
What You’ll Need:
Chicken Wings (wings and drummettes
G Hughes Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce (Sugar Free and Low Carb)
Spray Oil or oil to coat the wings. Can use regular oil.
Air Fryer – this is the one I have from Power XL
Instructions:
I used frozen wings that I picked up at the grocery store and defrosted them in my fridge.
Spritz your air fryer with PAM Coconut Oil Spray Pump. Then I placed my wings inside my air fryer basket and put the wings and drumettes near each other, but not touching.
I spritzed the wings and drumettes with some of the PAM Spray pump and then put my air fryer on 360 degrees for 20 minutes.
Shake the basket half way through.
After your wings are done, take them out, place them in a bowl or a container (with a top) and then add your sauce of choice. I added one of our favorites, BBQ sauce! I used G Hughes Sugar Free Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce and Marinade.
You put around 2-3 tablespoons’ worth of sauce on the wings. Put the top on your bowl and shake the bowl, throughly coating the wings.
They were delicious!
