Pumping breast milk isn’t exactly the most exciting or fun thing about being a mom, but for those of us who’s babies drink only breast milk it can be a necessity. Especially for working moms or ones who travel often.
So let me introduce you to NursePurse. NursePurse is a functional and stylish way to tote your breast pump around from place to place… but it also has room for other things like a computer, a cooler, wallet, make-up, etc. Basically a lot of room for anything else you might carry in your normal purse!
You simply remove your pump from the carrier it came with and slip it into your NursePurse. My Medela pump fit perfectly, and they say that if you remove the divider in the bag that it will also hold Hygeia or Ameda pumps.
I think the NursePurse is well constructed with a long strap and two side pockets (it even has little metal pegs on the bottom of the bag so that when you set it down the fabric doesn’t touch the ground) and made of durable material. It is also easy to clean. The bag comes in four different colorful prints, and sells for $129 on their site.
The only thing I wish NursePurse had but doesn’t, is a built-in cooler for my milk. The manufacturer said that they don’t make the bag with a built-in cooler because your needs from day to day may change (which is very true), but it is just my personal preference to have one because that is one less thing I have to think about! Also, the price is a little high, but the quality is definitely there. If you are a working mom who pumps then I think it could be well worth the extra penny if you want to consolidate the number of bags you have to carry.
Thank you to NursePurse for sending me their product for review. No compensation was received.
