Confused as to what the differences are between the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1 Ice Cream Maker? I was too. While I bought the Ninja CREAMi Breeze this summer and loved it, unfortunately, it broke a few weeks ago and I decided to upgrade to the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1 because I wanted more features. While I liked so many things about the Ninja CREAMi Breeze, I’m pretty happy with the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1. I’ll go into some of the pros and cons of the two units. Ninja CREAMi Breeze VS. Ninja CREAMi Deluxe:

The Breeze is quieter than the Deluxe
The Deluxe is sturdier, but also louder
The Deluxe has 11 settings, the Breeze has 7 (but a smoothie function that the Deluxe doesn’t have)
The Breeze is easier to use, as you just get your pint ready and then 24 hours, screw it into the unit to process (the Deluxe has a outer bowl also)
The Breeze is also a smaller unit, the Deluxe is larger
The Breeze is a little easier to clean
I don’t like how hard it is the get the Deluxe’s outer lid screwed up into the unit to start it (you will have to do it several times until it catches).
The Deluxe seems to run better and quicker through the processing than the Breeze.

Why Get a Ninja CREAMi Ice Cream Maker?

One of the main reasons I got the Ninja CREAMI Ice Cream Maker was to be able to create my own treats. I’m sensitive to dairy, so I do try to make a lot of non-dairy treats. I’ve been a little obsessed with getting a non-dairy Chocolate Mint Ice Cream (Ninja CREAMi) recipe perfected. While it took a few times, I’ve cracked it.

Non-Dairy Chocolate Mint Ice Cream

To make this non-dairy Chocolate Mint Ice Cream, you’re going to need an alternative milk of your choice (I chose to use a low-fat unsweetened vanilla almond milk), unsweetened cocoa, monk fruit sweetener, sugar-free chocolate pudding, and mint extract. I used peppermint extract from LorAnn oils and it was super concentrated. If you go that route, please use around 1/16th of a teaspoon and then see if your mix tastes good – you don’t want it to be too strong and taste like toothpaste. I suggest you try the Mint Chocolate chip flavor and use mint extract in either this form or this form.

You’ll need

2 cups of low-fat unsweetened vanilla almond milk – I like Almond Breeze Dairy Free Almondmilk, Unsweetened Vanilla
2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa – I like 365 Organic Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
1 tablespoon of monk fruit sweetener – I like Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener
1/16 teaspoon of mint or chocolate mint extract – I like LorAnn Mint Chocolate Chip SS Flavor Flavor, 1 dram bottle –
2 tablespoons of sugar-free chocolate pudding mix

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients in your Ninja CREAMi Deluxe Pint container – an immersion blender ensures that its really mixed.
Freeze for 24 hours
Run through the lite ice cream setting
Respin as needed
