We’re back with another book from The Questioneers – Book 2 is Ada Twist and the Perilous Pants! My daughter, a spunky gal herself also loved this book. Ada Twist (the titular character) loves to ask questions. She loves to know why does hot coffee smell more strongly than cold coffee? Also, what birds live in her backyard? Why can’t she always borrow her brother’s things for experiments (it seems to annoy him). The Questioneers Book 2: Ada Twist and the Perilous Pants!
You may remember we covered The Questioneers Book 1 – Rosie Revere and the Raucous Riveters recently and loved it. This is the second book in the series. Ada is friends with Rosie and has to come to her aid when Rose’s Uncle Ned gets carried away in his famous helium pants. How high can Uncle Ned float? Will he fly off into outer space? And, most important, how can they get him down? With the help of her fellow Questioneers Iggy Peck and Rosie Revere, her brother Arthur, and some new friends, Ada Twist is ready to save the day!
My daughter loved Ada’s spirit and how she always wanted to know the answers. She’s a questioner herself, so the series really resonates with her.
