Marvel's Iron Fist is Coming to Netflix March 17

Are you excited for Marvel’s Iron Fist? Billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

The Story:
Danny Rand ( Finn Jones – Game of Thrones) was ten years old when the private plane he was traveling on with his billionaire father Wendell and mother Heather mysteriously crashed in the Himalayas. The sole survivor of the crash, Danny was rescued by a group of warrior monks and brought to the mysterious city of K’un-Lun where, under harsh and often
brutal conditions, he was trained to be a fierce warrior. Suffering psychologically from the loss of his parents and the conditions in which he grew up, Danny returns to New York City, desperately hoping to reunite with the childhood
friends he considers family – his father’s former business partner Harold Meachum ( David Wenham – 300) and his children Ward ( Tom Pelphrey – Banshee) and Joy ( Jessica Stroup – The Following) and to take his rightful place at his father’s chemical and pharmaceutical company, Rand Enterprises, now run by the Meachum family.

Marvel’s Iron Fist is one of Marvel’s most popular street-level superheroes and is the fourth of four epic live-action adventure series ( Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage, all leading up to the teaming of the title characters in Marvel’s The Defenders) that explores the mystery of how Danny Rand became the Iron Fist.

The series is Executive produced by series showrunner Scott Buck (Dexter, Six Feet Under), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil; Marvel’s Jessica Jones; Marvel’s Luke Cage.), and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil; Marvel’s Jessica Jones; Marvel’s Luke Cage). The action-filled drama brings the final member of the street-level heroes known as The Defenders to the screen.

All 13 original episodes o f Marvel’s Iron Fist will premiere exclusively on Netflix in 2017. The cast also features David Wenham (300), Rosario Dawson ( Marvel’s Daredevil, Sin City), Jessica Henwick ( Game of Thrones), Jessica Stroup ( The Following, 90210), Tom Pelphrey ( Banshee) and Carrie-Anne Moss ( Marvel’s Jessica Jones, The Matrix Trilogy). All 13 original episodes of Marvel’s Iron Fist premiere exclusively on 17 th March, 2017 on Netflix.
