We’re big fans of the Wubble Ball here at The Mama Maven. My kids have played with both the Wubblex and the glow-in the dark Wubble Ball and had a really cool sensory experience with a ball that is so incredibly different from the types of balls they’re used to playing with. The original Wubble Bubble Ball is an award-winning toy which was named the #1 selling sports activity toy for 2015 by the NPD Group. And now there’s a new toy which is even stretchier and stronger: the Super Wubble Ball! We received it for review and it’s a whole other ball game, no pun intended.
The Super Wubble ball is really unique. It’s made from a new material called Xpandium, which is super-stretchy. This ball is up to four times stronger and more tear-resistant than the original Wubble Bubble Ball. It won’t tear, even if you sit or jump on it, yet it’s soft and lightweight. You can inflate it up to 30 inches and it comes with a battery-operated pump and everything you need to inflate it (plus an emergency repair kit – it will pop if it comes in contact with a sharp object). When you’re done playing you can deflate it and put it away for next time. The Super Wubble Ball comes in four colors: blue, red, green and pink.
The ball is great for kids of all ages but recommended for kids ages 6 and up. My three have been having a blast trying to get it to pop by squeezing and smashing it with all of their might. So far it’s 1:0 Super Wubble Ball.
