Need a simple sesame ginger marinade for chicken? Our recipe has 5 ingredients and will literally take you 5 minutes to prepare.
You’ll need low sodium soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, toasted sesame oil, garlic, 1 1/2 lbs of chicken breast, and a plastic zippered bag. My father-in-law whipped this up the other night — wait ’til you see what we served it with!
Grate fresh ginger — until you have around 1 tablespoon.
Add 1/4 cup of low sodium soy sauce.
Add 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar.
Then add 3 or 4 cloves of garlic, minced. We used jarred minced garlic (don’t throw things at us!). Add 2-3 tablespoons of toasted sesame oil.
You can use this with chicken or fish.
We used chicken breast, cut into strips. Let chicken marinate for around 20 minutes (or longer if you have the time).
Broil chicken or cook on grill to taste.

The top says toasted sesame oil but that’s not included anywhere in the recipe. Is sesame oil supposed to go in the recipe? Looks really good and I don’t want to miss anything

Thank you for letting me know. Add it in before you mix the marinade! I updated it in the recipe.
