I don’t know about you but the heat is getting to me! Not just the heat; the humidity, the stickiness and the feeling of sluggishness are taking a toll so I’ve been on the lookout for fun indoor activities that can keep both kids and parents happy. Bowling is something I’ve never tried with my kids so we recently checked out Bowlmor and had a blast in their air-conditioned facilities.
Bowlmor is a large facility that has a really great atmosphere. There’s upbeat music and various movies on large projector screens. Upon arrival we quickly got into our bowling shoes and started a game. All three kids participated, each according to his or her ability.
The kids had so much fun cheering one another and clapping. They encouraged each other when they did not do as well. I was especially klutzy so it was nice to hear my daughter clap and say “good try!”.
Bowling can work up an appetite. Luckily, Bowlmor has a large menu with a variety of food to choose from.
Bowlmor has locations all over the country, with some, such as the Chelsea Piers location, that offer other activities, such as laser tag and an arcade.
It was a fun, family-bonding experience and we can’t wait to go back! Visit Bowlmor.com to learn more.
I was not compensated for this post. I received a complimentary bowling experience.
