I’ve had teeth sensitivity for a while. With me, it’s sweet and cold things. I’ll take a bite and worry about it whether or not it will end up hurting me. And usually, it does. With other people, it may be sensitivity to hot beverages or foods. Even though I married into a family of dentists (my father-in-law, my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law are all dentists), I never thought to do anything about it. I just avoid those foods. And apparently that’s a common thing. Most people don’t seek treatment, they just suffer. But you don’t have to.
Recently, I got a chance to preview Crest’s new Sensi-Stop Strips, which is a super-new product which is designed to relieve tooth sensitivity like never before. Crest Sensi-Stop Strips use the same ingredient as some professional treatments delivered through a strip technology to provide targeted, immediate and long-lasting relief.
This will blow your mind:
1 STRIP applied for 10 MINUTES provides IMMEDIATE RELIEF and up to 1 MONTH OF PROTECTION from sensitivity pain!
Check out my video recap from the Crest Sensi-Strips Launch Event I attended recently.
Want to know exactly how Sensi Strips work?
I love these great tips for people with sensitive teeth from Dr. Nancy Rosen, who was at the event with us.
1. Ensure you’re using a soft bristle toothbrush – preferably a power brush.
2. Choose sugarless gum or drink water after eating.
3. Drinking acidic beverages through a straw can help decrease the exposure of acid content to your teeth.
4. There’s now an over-the-counter treatment that is a first of its kind. New Crest Sensi-Stop Strips can be applied to your gum line wherever you are experiencing sensitivity. Use 1 strip, for 10 minutes for immediate relief and up to 1 month of protection.
5. Make sure you see your dentist two times a year for regular exams and cleanings.
6. If you are a teeth grinder at nighttime, speak with your dentist about having a night guard custom made for you.
7. Make sure you are brushing with perfect technique! Hold the toothbrush at a 45 degree angle and brush in a circular motion. Follow brushing with the use of floss.
