During a special pre-screening organized by The Moms and Lipton Tea and Honey, I was fortunate to see a beautiful and heart warming movie “The Odd Life of Timothy Green”. Jennifer Garner was there in the beginning of the movie and spoke to us about the film. (Read More after the jump).
“The Odd Life of Timothy Green,” written by Peter Hedges and Ahmet Zappa, directed by Peter Hedges and starring Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton and CJ Adams is a story about a childless couple who bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. Soon, a child is born, though Timothy Green is not all that he appears. He is somewhat of a supernatural being sent to help those around him as well as learn about others and life. The storyline is both magical and grounded in reality where we follow Timothy Green learn about life including bullying, love, competition, and yes, even death.
“The Odd Life of Timothy Green” is an interesting subject with a bit of fantasy blended with a family drama. The story is original, endearing and cute, with moments of humor sprinkled throughout. This is an enjoyable film wrapped in an emotional drama, with a touch of fantasy in an age filled with remakes and sequels. If you’re looking for something new for the family give Timothy Green a try.
