What do you get when you cross a doll and a teddy bear, put on her some stylish clothes, add a backstory and even an actual book? Zylie, the bear! For little girls who like their dolls to be a little more plush and cuddly – Zylie is the perfect toy! (Read more after the jump)
Zylie is an adorable, super-soft teddy bear that’s the size of an actual doll (18” tall). She’s from Manhattan so she’s dressed pretty trendy and more than anything, she loves traveling. She comes with her own passport, map and diary but the best part is that she also comes with her very own full-length (and well-written) book that tells all about her adventures with her brother Theo and her friend, Shen, the Panda bear. Currently her adventures have taken place in New York and China and I hear she’s now on her way to Australia!
My kids and I recently attended an event in Central Park that was all about Zylie. The event was run by Oasis Day Camp – a camp with locations in NYC and Long Island, among other places. The camp includes arts, sports, swimming, outdoor education, such as hiking, and more. My kids were happy to participate in scrapbooking about Zylie and also loved listening to a story about her adventures at the Museum of Natural History with her brother. The Oasis Camp counselors were amazing with the kids and had just as much fun being there!
After a fun-filled morning my kids were happy to take home Zylie and Shen and have been enjoying playing with them and having me read them the books!
You can buy Zylie here for $34.79. You can buy Shen here for $49.95.
I was not compensated for this post. I received samples for review purposes.
