What happens when you come back from a family vacation and have no time to go food shopping before life has to resume? You try to cobble dinner for your family from your pantry and freezer! We’re trying to eat healthy, so instead of reaching for the takeout menu as I might have done in the past, I pulled out a box of whole wheat pasta, frozen peas, 2 frozen salmon pieces, and the Tessemae’s Lemon Garlic Dressing and Marinade that I was just sent and made this deliciousness. If you are looking for a healthier dressing/marinade or follow the Whole 30 program, you’ll be pleased to know that Tessemae’s Organic Lemon Garlic Dressing and Marinade is gluten free, dairy free, paleo, Whole 30, sugar free, vegan, and kosher. And it tastes really delicious!
While the Tessemae’s Lemon Garlic Salmon is Whole 30, the pasta and peas are not. To make this Whole 30 compliant, serve salmon over zoodles, riced cauliflower, or baked russet or sweet potatoes. Here’s a link to all the Tessemae’s Whole 30 compliant products.

How to make it Kid-Friendly: If you have a picky eater who won’t like the dressing and salmon, just add parmesan and butter (or omega 3 spread) and serve. My daughter likes salmon, but my boys decided they didn’t want any at this meal. They just had the pasta with peas and parmesan.
