In my last post, I did some fun sandwich art with Nature’s Harvest Bread.
In this post, I’m going to share a delicious sandwich idea using Nature’s Harvest Stoneground Wheat Bread. It has 25 grams of whole grain (yes!).
First, you’ll need some of Nature’s Harvest whole grain breads. We’ve tried out the light and honey wheat flavors, so I decided to use the Stone Ground Whole Wheat with 25 grams of whole grain in this.
I love grilled cheese, but decided to kick it up a little with turkey, tomatoes, and guac. So I cut the tomatoes.
I enlisted my oldest child to cut the cheddar.
Then, we laid out the bread and built the sandwiches assembly line style (there were 7 hungry family members for lunch that day). We skipped the turkey on one sandwich (my oldest child isn’t always a fan of any meat).
I added guac.
And then I threw it in a griddle pan with some cooking spray.
Once they were all golden toasty brown, took them of the heat.
I sliced and served each sandwich with some baked blue tortilla chips.
I got rave reviews from my usually harsh critics (my picky eaters usually give me a fuss about everything).
I was thrilled that they were enjoying a healthy whole wheat bread that had 25 grams of whole grain.

I love that there is a wide variety of Nature’s Harvest breads, every one of them baked with whole grains and at least 8g per serving. They are all a good choice, and the company’s slogan is “The easy choice for whole grains.”
I try to give my kids as many whole grains as possible.
