Go! Go! Smart Animals™ Forest Adventure Playset™ is the new addition to VTech’s Go! Go! Smart Wheels Toys which they introduced in 2013. Already known for creating high quality educational toys, this hard plastic set will endure the roughest treatment possible. As a mom of a rough and tumble three year old, he’s already put this toy through its paces.
There are so many toys on the market that integrate fun with hand eye coordination and learning. This is no exception. Right away, my three year old knew what to do with the Forest Adventure Playset that VTech sent for review. The big interlocking pieces were no match for his innate curiosity to see how things fit together. As a matter of fact, he has played with this toy in every room of our apartment. He just takes it apart and reassembles it where he wants. I really like that this toy set promotes independence. And he is really enjoying the little rolling characters that were also provided, including the monkey and the elephant pictured.
What makes this toy unique are the Smart Points located throughout the set which interact with the Smart Points on the toys. When my son rolls the bear toy over a Smart Point in the cave it lights up and says “I’ll hide here.”
All the toys say or do something ranging from cute quotes to playing familiar children’s tunes. Another benefit of this play set is it fits together with the other play sets in the Go Go Smart Wheels series which gives your child the potential to create a huge, interlocking world of fun and creativity.
Verdict: This is a big thumbs up!
