We love Hess Trucks! The 2011 Hess Toy Truck was released in mid- November, which makes it perfect to gift to your kids for the upcoming holidays. This year it’s a truck and a race car (the race car can sit on the truck’s flatbed). The quality is sturdy and this is one reasonably priced toy. We recommend picking it up at your local Hess Station, but you can get it on Amazon or Ebay.
Appropriate from ages 3 up to 7 or 8, this year’s model features two vehicles: a flatbed truck and a race car that fits inside. The flatbed truck has working lights, 4-wheel independent suspension, push button activated ignition, horn and backup alert sounds and a hidden driving ramp with hydraulic sound. The Race Car features a pullback motor with 4-speed engine sounds and working lights.Our little testers went crazy over it (ages 15 months, almost 4 years old and 6 years old). It’s durable and kids will think they’re getting two presents (because of the truck and race car). Hess Trucks aren’t always just for the boys — my almost 4 year old daughter loves it too — Requires 2 C-size batteries, which are included.
